Earthquakes are a sudden shaking, rolling or sudden shock of earth's surface. Earthquakes are also earth's natural means of releasing stress.Earthquakes can be felt over huge areas but they can usually last less than a minute.

The Pakistan Earthquake struck on a Saturday.Many people died at this time. The earthquake happened so quickly that some people didn't have time to escape before buildings fell on them.
